What is kirat chuli?

Kirat Chuli, also known as Tent Peak, is a mountain located in the Annapurna Himalayas of Nepal. It has a height of 5,663 meters (18,575 feet) and is a popular trekking peak for climbers. The peak was first climbed in 1956 by Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing. Its name, Kirat Chuli, comes from the Kirati tribe of eastern Nepal who are believed to have migrated to the region in ancient times. The climb to the summit of Kirat Chuli requires good technical skills and involves crossing steep ridges, glaciers, and icy trails. Despite its challenging terrain, the peak offers impressive views of the surrounding mountains, including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre.
